With a total project value of over $6B, the Woolgoolga to Ballina (W2B) project is Australia’s largest regional infrastructure project and will duplicate approx. 155km of the Pacific Hwy to create a four lane divided road over the full length of the upgrade.
The project includes the construction of approximately 40 bridges with all piling works to be completed by AFS Bachy Soletache who are acting as the head contractor under Pacific Complete’s horizontally integrated delivery model. FSG have been awarded the contract to perform all pile testing (integrity and load capacity), geotechnical supervision, logging of rock sockets, certification of pile capacity and design and verification of working platforms.
