We are pleased to announce that in March this year Dr. Burt Look, joined FSG as Senior Principal Engineer in our Brisbane office. Burt was previously geotechnical practice leader at SKM/Jacobs and joined FSG to lead our expansion into broader geotechnical engineering services. In September 2014 Burt was awarded QLD Engineer of the Year.
Burt has over 30 years professional engineering experience and is widely recognised in the areas of earthworks, expansive clays, slope stability and landslides, risk assessment, ground improvement, and site characterisation. Burt has published widely (over 50 technical publications and 3 books) and has developed the Engineering Education Australia (EEA) course on “Earthworks” which he has presented nationally for the past 8 years to over 1,000 attendees.
